ANTIOXIDANTS IN SOAP AND COMMUNITY

Fighting recidivism in poor communities disturbs the trend of increasing numbers in Americas prisons. In communities like Detroit, MI the recidivism rate is 77%.  In most cases, when a person returns to jail for a second sentence, someone else they know is also going with them. 

​Creating jobs that allow people new experiences and new ways to spend their time will prevent released persons from reverting to the same lifestyle that earned them time in jail originally. It will also prevent them the free time to recruit new people into their old way of living.  Doesn't this sound similar to the sickness and disease process we have to fight in our physical bodies?
